Assessment and Therapy Services (ATS) was established in 1982 with the aim of providing a specialised, high quality therapy service for children, adolescents and adults in the Northern Sydney area. The experienced and committed professionals at Assessment and Therapy Services provide comprehensive assessment and treatment programs designed to meet the individual needs of each client. We also provide services in schools, preschools and day care centres. We have helped hundreds of toddlers, children, adolescents and adults improve their skills and self confidence.
We are able to provide parent information talks and inservice courses for teachers and other professionals. Benefits improved self confidence ability to work with greater independence improved friendships and social skills increased confidence with new activities being more organised feeling happier more confident parenting being able to express needs improved behaviour better concentration and attention to detail strong life long skills for learning fostering of parent-child relationships empowering and preparing both parents and children for school and high school entry Evaluation and Assessment Each new client is seen for a comprehensive initial assessment then thoroughly briefed on assessment results and their treatment plan. Parents are encouraged to be involved in helping their children meet their treatment goals.
